Alex Santos, is a self taught Mexican scientist with big dreams and sometimes, crazy ideas. Since the ruthless killing of his father that left him orphaned, he’s wanted to be a superhero. He’s been working tirelessly with his loyal best friend, “Buddy” to make this dream a reality. Unfortunately he grew into a low level corporate stooge with an overbearing boss and a nagging wife that he ignores at every turn but, he’s been working on something. Something that will change everything.

Alex finally gets a break when he accidentally creates a super suit that is impervious to bullets. Now he can finally become the superhero that he always wanted to be, and Alex calls him, Dope Smack. He begins to track down drug dealers, including the one narco, Rafael Espinoza, who killed his father. His dream of justice is finally being realized. But some dreams do come true and can be deadly. Little does he know that in his city of New Orleans, real supervillains with deadly super powers actually exist.

Alex is no match for the world that he is entering, and he learns that right before he is shot in the head. AT THAT MOMENT, something extraordinary happens, he is rescued by a young girl with real superpowers, her name is Anexis. He wants her to take his place fighting crime, something she wants nothing to do with. Instead of joining him, she grants him super powers, spinning his life around and forcing him to learn that the lust for power, will always bring about destruction. Dope Smack has to rise to the occasion and become a hero for his city and to save all the ones that he loves.
